Job Description
Description Our client, a global organization currently integrating two business units following a corporate restructuring, is seeking an interim senior IT leader to help drive that transition. This is not a traditional project-manager role — the client is not looking for someone to build and track detailed project plans or run formal governance processes. Instead, they need a project-oriented, strategic IT leader who can step into a senior capacity, get up to speed quickly, and help the organization execute through a major operational and organizational transition. The role covers two main areas of focus:
+ A large-scale IT systems transition already underway, where outcomes and direction have been defined at the corporate level — this person will be embedded with the working team, translating those outcomes into organized execution and making sure the right people are on the right activities.
+ Alignment and execution support for a newly harmonized target operating model, including the organizational and structural changes that come with a business unit merger. The role will also support the rollout of new policies, controls, and procedures coming from corporate leadership as part of this harmonization effort. This is explicitly not an M& A due-diligence or deal-stage integration role — the organization is past that phase. This is longer-term operational and organizational transition work. What You'll Need
+ An enterprise IT background with experience managing large-scale projects and/or teams.
+ Prior experience operating at an IT Director level or above, ideally having led organizations through significant transitions (examples include IPOs, mergers, or large-scale integrations).
+ The ability to operate strategically at a senior level — this is a "big picture, get things executed" role, not a hands-on plan-and-track position.
+ Comfort working in a fast-moving, less formal, less process-heavy environment.
+ Willingness and ability to travel as outlined above. Not Required
+ No PMP or formal project management certification needed.
+ No formal M& A, due diligence, or deal-stage integration specialization required — this experience is a plus but not the core of the role. Requirements What You'll Need
