POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for gaining new business and growing the National Accounts. Drive new product placements within select national chains collaborating with Business Partners in Product management, Marketing, Research & Development, and Culinary areas. Develop robust customer plans focused on creating value for both the customer and the company that achieve both our short and long term goals; manage broker relationship depending on area.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Identify, develop and manage national account relationships, including but not limited to, developing deep relationships with customers which encompass R&D, Purchasing, and Marketing, conducting customer ideation sessions, capabilities presentations and quarterly business reviews Develop and implement a customer centric planning process that creates distinctive and sustainable value for both our customers and company Generate timely communications of activities, call reports, and pre-call planners Effectively manage budget, program and pricing elements Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, Marketing or related field or 4 years related work experience Five (5) years sales experience selling to national accounts (food industry) Two (2) year Nielsen Product Analysis experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's in Business Administration (MBA) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and
ABILITIES
(KSAs) Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to create clear and concise presentations Ability to build professional relationships and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders The ability to work efficiently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. Able to stand for at least 4 hours. Can regularly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck. Can repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS
Able to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
