General Manager Sales & Marketing Manager Position Summary We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead and grow our sales and marketing initiatives across ARTE MUSEUM's US locations, including the upcoming Santa Monica opening on November 27, 2026. This exempt-level role owns the full sales and marketing function - from strategy and budget to execution and team leadership - and sits at the intersection of revenue growth, brand management, guest experience, and partnership development. It is ideal for a seasoned leader who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and knows how to translate strategy into measurable results. Sales & Marketing Manager Responsibilities Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and execute the annual sales and marketing strategy in alignment with revenue, attendance, and brand growth goals, including plans supporting the Santa Monica launch Identify, negotiate, and secure new business, group sales, and strategic partnerships Set pricing, promotional, and packaging strategy in partnership with senior leadership Own revenue targets and budget accountability for sales and marketing initiatives Analyze sales data and market trends to inform forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making for senior leadership Marketing Strategy & Brand Management Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, and traditional channels Own brand positioning and ensure consistency across all guest touchpoints, including the new Santa Monica location Manage the marketing budget and allocate spend across channels to maximize ROI Direct content strategy, social media presence, and public relations efforts, managing agency and vendor relationships as needed Track, analyze, and report on marketing KPIs (traffic, conversion, cost of acquisition, campaign performance) Event Strategy & Execution Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of internal and external events, ensuring brand alignment and a high-quality guest experience Lead cross-functional coordination with Marketing, Operations, Systems, and other internal teams Provide leadership, escalation support, and on-site oversight for high-profile or complex events Partnership, Vendor & Team Leadership Serve as the primary strategic contact for key partners, corporate clients, and global online travel agencies (OTAs); negotiate contracts and manage ongoing relationships Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism boards, and OTA partners across current and new markets Hire, train, mentor, and supervise sales and events staff, including coordinators and seasonal team members Serve as the escalation point for guest inquiries related to ticketing, purchases, date changes, and refunds Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field required; MBA a plus 8+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, including significant experience in a leadership or management capacity, preferably within tourism, hospitality, entertainment, or the attractions industry Demonstrated track record of developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drove measurable revenue growth Strong analytical skills; high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with experience using CRM and marketing analytics platforms Proven negotiation and partnership development skills, including direct experience managing OTA relationships Strong people-management skills with experience hiring, developing, and leading a team Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, and to travel between Las Vegas and Santa Monica as business requires Ability to understand and articulate exhibition content and brand story effectively to diverse audiences and stakeholders Why Join Us Be part of a first-of-its-kind immersive art experience in the US Work within a globally expanding brand with a passionate, creative team Contribute directly to the growth and guest experience of a landmark its newest Santa Monica location Benefits Medical and Vision insurances fully paid by employer 401(k) with employer matching
