Our customers recognize us for streamlining the administrative functions of HR, Worker's Compensation, Benefits & Payroll, which allows them to improve their bottom line. As our Business Development Consultant, you will drive the continued success of the Company with new customers and maintain our tradition of high client satisfaction.PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Business Development Consultant position is a highly visible and consultative sales position will utilize your one-to-one relationship-building skills and business experience to create deep relationships with new potential customers. These relationships are the backbone of Payday's success, and your success allows you to affect the bottom line directly.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Makes outbound sales calls on Small and Medium Business Owners
- Achieves goals for in-person and Zoom meetings with Small and Medium Business Owners
- Grows revenue of PEO by strategically positioning our services at all decision-making levels
- Secures new accounts and expand upon an existing book of business
- Effectively follows up with prospects to develop business
- Develops and maintains effective business relationships
- Maintains and follows up with existing client relationships
- Identifies and develops new market opportunities to expand the company's fast growing client base in the U.S.
- Initiates and delivers proposals to prospective clients
- Responsible for understanding company's expertise and services
- Assesses the customers' needs and articulates solutions
- Communicates directly with high level decision makers
- Works closely with Corporate Team composed of Benefits, Marketing, Operations, and Human Resources to assist in bringing the customers along in choosing our company for PEO services
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- History of generating revenues and profits that meet or exceed monthly sales required
- Bachelor's degree in business or another field preferred
- Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented and competitive
- Willingness to travel
- Detail oriented How Success Will be
