Implements higher level directives, formules procedures and programs to ensure high standards of recreional and promotional efforts. Carries out necessary liaison with other staff officials th support outdoor recreion and marina activities, events, and purchase of reled equipment. Conducts inspections of the marina facility and equipment. Performs Contracting Officer Representive (COR) duties. Serves as liaison between a Contractor and Contracting Officer to aid in contract administrion. Overseas contractor performance and adherence to regulions. Informs the Contracting Officer of potential performance problems. Handles routing mters, contract files, and forwards informion to Contracting Officer. Inspects and accepts products and services, reviews and approves invoices. Prepares periodic COR reports. Plans, organizes work and manages internal resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Prepares financial plan, budgets, inventories, cost controls, and reled records and reports, and exercises authority on approved budget. Reviews the financial stus of the assigned activity and recommends changes considered necessary. Either directly or indirectly through subordine supervisors, manages activity employees. Trains, schedules work, approves leave requests, appraises performance, counsels assigned personnel, and recommends personnel actions. Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment opportunity policy, and ensures compliance with fire safety, security, and other environmental issues. Manages new property resources and provides advice on renovions and improvements. Develops long range plans in conjunction with internal opering directives. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud waste and abuse. Must be alert to substance and alcohol abuse and take approprie action. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. EVALUATIONS

Qualificions A minimum of four years supervisory experience which demonstres responsible administrive, professional, and technical work involving marina operions, including boing, the use and reled mechanics of equipment, and recreional activities. Strong organizional skills and the ability to motive and coordine with others. Incumbent must have the ability to supervise, deal effectively with subordines, management officials, and prons. Bachelor of Arts degree in recreion, business or a reled field from an accredited university or certificion in marina management preferred. Must have ability to effectively communice both orally and in writing. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
