SGO Development Director/Administrator Location:
Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Catholic Schools Office Overview:
The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend Catholic Schools Office is seeking an SGO ("Scholarship Granting Organization") Administrator to join our team. The candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the SGO initiatives within the diocese. This position involves analyzing individual schools' SGO balances and influencing enrollment strategies. Additionally, the SGO Administrator will be responsible for providing professional development opportunities for the team of school administrators and pastors.
Governance Structure:

SGO Development Director SGO Development Director Education Desired:
Bachelor's Degree or Higher (preferably in marketing and/or business administration)
Experience Desired:
Minimum of three successful years in a marketing and/or business administration position.
Responsibilities:
The SGO Director will provide guidance and lead with the full functionality of SGO software. After training, the director will be responsible to provide any necessary professional development to stakeholders. The director will need to develop strategies for marketing SGO opportunities to various individuals and groups. The SGO Director will become familiar with the NEW federal SGO functionality and requirements. Develop a strategic plan to implement the system with fidelity. Board Structure Accounting Processes The SGO Director will develop and conduct professional development sessions for parish school SGO committees to improve their strategic plan as it relates to SGOs; The SGO Director will serve as a member of the TSTC ("Teacher Salary & Tuition Committee"); The SGO Director will serve as a member of the SGO Board; and The SGO Director will need to complete clerical tasks related to processing SGO donations and maintaining active records to be reviewed during an annual audit. The SGO Director may have additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Measurables:
The SGO Director will participate in all SGONEI Board meetings and provide guidance and updates. The SGO Director will lead in collaboration with others the development of a strategic plan to review and implement a Federal SGO program. The SGO Director will work with Diocesan Communication's team to make sure that the donor experience using the SGO software maximizes potential donations and collaborating when necessary to solve issues. The SGO Director will host or provide individual parish schools with necessary SGO management strategies as necessary. The SGO Administrator will create a strategic plan framework and slide presentation; Professional development session for all parish school teams; and The SGO Administrator will be able to provide the SGO Board with data related to the financial need of any school based on the School Statistics Report ("SSR").
