Responsibilities The Special Projects Consultant is responsible for developing and expanding profitable business opportunities for Arbor Masters while maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships. This position will play a key role in the transition of existing customer accounts and relationships and will work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for continued growth. A primary responsibility of this position will be to assume responsibility for existing accounts and relationships as part of a planned transition. The Special Projects Consultant will maintain strong customer relationships, understand client needs, identify opportunities for additional services, and ensure Arbor Masters continues to provide exceptional service. The position will also focus heavily on developing new business opportunities for the Land Lot Clearing Department, as well as identifying and pursuing other profitable business opportunities that align with Arbor Masters' capabilities and strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS
Customer & Account Management Business Development & Sales Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, construction, landscaping, tree care, land clearing, or a related industry preferred. Strong existing business and professional relationships are highly valued. Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain long-term customer relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand customer needs and develop profitable solutions. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and internal teams. Professional demeanor and strong customer-service mindset. Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed for customer meetings, business development, and company activities. Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle. 5 years tree industry experience ISA Certified Arborist Certification required Extensive knowledge of tree and plant care standards and best practices Excellent communication and customer service skills Basic math skills and understanding of business financials Benefits In addition to offering compensation in the top 25% of the market, our employee benefits package includes: Medical Plan effective 60 days following start date Dental Plan Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
