Salary:
$60,450 The Residential House Manager offers personalized, person-centered support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a group home setting. They provide strategic leadership, manage operations, and oversee the residential program. This position emphasizes maintaining high-quality, safe, and inclusive living spaces, promoting each resident's well-being and achievements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and advancing organizational goals through effective program development, staff supervision, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the development of maximum independence, responsibility and self-worth Integration of quality of life ideals into daily management and program development Preparation and implementation of program goals, individuals service plans, progress notes and treatment plans. Nurturing a positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers Providing for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise a team of direct care staff Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with WORK Inc.'s company policy and applicable laws. Interview, hire and train employees. Planning, assigning, training and directing work. Addressing complaints and resolving problems. On call responsibilities including out of hours emergencies. Requirements:
Fluent in ASL (American Sign Language) Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education Social Work, or related Field or one plus years related experience and actively enrolled in a related degree program or minimum five years' experience. Valid Massachusetts Driver's License and a safe driving record. CPR/First Aid certification and safety care required (training provided) Proficiency with basic technology and electronic documentation systems
