The Director of Spa and Wellness serves as the strategic and operational leader of the Spa and Fitness Center, overseeing all aspects of the department while continuously striving to enhance both guest and employee satisfaction. Working in close partnership with the hotel leadership team and cross-functional departments, this individual plays a critical role in elevating the property's wellness offerings, driving departmental performance, and ensuring that every guest experience reflects the exceptional standards and values of the Four Seasons brand. The Director of Spa & Wellness is responsible for fostering a culture that embodies Four Seasons' core values, maintaining established service and operational standards, and ensuring the highest levels of professionalism throughout the spa and fitness operations. This position reports directly to the General Manager.What you will do:
Leadership:
Oversee the daily operations of the Spa and Fitness Center, ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and achievement of departmental goalsOperations Management:
Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily operations while ensuring clear communication, timely resolution of guest concerns, and seamless execution of special requests and servicesFinancial Management:
Develop and execute departmental budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to support business objectives, optimize revenue, control expenses, and maximize profitabilityCross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to enhance the guest experience, support business initiatives, and achieve organizational objectivesGuest Experience:
Drive the delivery of personalized, innovative, and luxury wellness experiences through continuous evaluation of treatments, products, services, and operational standardsTeam Leadership & Development:
Lead, coach, and develop Spa team members through effective training, mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and career development opportunitiesCommunication & Team Engagement:
Foster a positive and high-performing team culture by motivating, empowering, and holding team members accountable to consistently meet and exceed service and performance standards What you bring: Ability to manage operational priorities while maintaining attention to detail and high standards. Passion for wellness, hospitality, innovation, and creating memorable guest experiences. Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams while creating a positive and engaging work environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Strong understanding of luxury wellness trends, guest expectations, and service excellence. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a luxury, upscale, or full-service spa environment, preferably in a Director-level or comparable management role.What we offer:
