Montana Statewide Sales Manager

Job Summary An established premium beverage company is seeking a Montana Statewide Sales Manager based in the Flathead Valley. This role will lead sales growth across the state while building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, bars, and restaurants. The position is ideal for someone with experience in beer, wine, spirits, or hospitality sales who thrives in a relationship-driven industry and enjoys developing new markets. This role requires frequent travel throughout Montana and active engagement with both on-premise and off-premise accounts . Duties Manage and grow statewide sales within Montana Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, bars, and restaurants Identify and secure new account placements Conduct tastings, promotions, and brand events Support accounts with staff education and menu placements Collaborate with distributor sales teams to increase market penetration Monitor and stay current on new and transferring liquor licenses Maintain CRM entries and sales activity reporting Represent the brand at trade events and industry gatherings Skills Proven experience in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, and territory management within a technical or retail environment. Experience in beer, wine, spirits, or beverage sales preferred Hospitality industry experience (bartending, restaurant management, beverage director) is a strong plus Proven ability to build strong customer relationships Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to obtain Montana alcohol server certification Must be 21 years or older Charismatic and professional brand representative Strong relationship-building skills Self-motivated and able to manage a large territory independently Excellent communication and presentation skills Highly organized with strong time management Comfortable with cold calling and in-person sales

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
