FRONT DESK MANAGER JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for front desk managers who are hungry to learn business and excel in the areas of leading awesome people, providing awesome customer service, running awesome park operations, and driving revenue for awesome results! This role provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results while maintaining our planet SAFE and FUN!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cultivate a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while directing the team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level, support our staff members when needed.
• Assist in hiring, retention of staff, coaching, discipline; ensure execution of staff training programs
• Develop weekly schedules and ensure staffing levels and lead coverage is appropriate to meet the needs of the business and maximize the customer experience. Have experience using "When I work" is a plus.
• Lead and influence staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity
• Select, develop staff and trainers for more responsibility or internal promotability into a leadership program
• Assist with inventory and controlling expenses
• Responsible for all aspects of the operation including entertainment, food, beverage, attractions and property inspections
• Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for all guests and staff
• Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Happy Feet Planet operating standards and philosophies
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Is 18 years of age or older
• Has completed their high school diploma or equivalent education
• Experience in hospitality is a MUST (recreation, fitness, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or a related field)
• 1+ year supervisory or management experience required
• Ability to pass a thorough background check
• CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred
• Demonstrated ability of developing team members in areas of responsibility
• Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude!
• Computer skills essential — Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to enthusiastically interact with others
• Adaptability, flexibility, general enthusiasm for the business
• Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner
• Willing to learn and adapt to changes or challenges
• Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors
• Exercise good judgment in decision-making
• Appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.)
• We work when others play!

Must be able and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays

ABOUT HAPPY FEET PLANET CHILDREN'S AMUSEMENT PARK

Happy feet Planet is an indoor playground located in Wake Forest, NC. We are a safe, secure, clean and adventure-filled space where children ages 6 months - 12 years old can be active and explore. We offer a relaxed atmosphere for families with unlimited play time on our 3 story high indoor playground.

Pay:

$16.00 per hour
