  • Full-time Provides leadership to the assigned sales team.
Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met; works with team to gain new customers and opportunities. Manages weekly sales quote tool and ensures that each TM has an active sales funnel and pipeline. Assists each TM with quotes and pricing from each manufacturer; uses quoting tools to help maintain sales GP and manage sales orders. Provides a weekly report of sales quotes to Director. Reviews market share data monthly with Director to understand and form a plan to achieve team market share. Assists TMs with the demo process. Provides product training and educates sales team on current and new equipment lines. Acts as company representative at trade shows and assists with the planning and organization to attend. Works with TMs to ensure weekly input into company CRM system to ensure customer data is updated on a timely basis. Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts. Uses EDA and other tools to direct TMs' efforts and target new opportunities. Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment products or services that will meet those needs. Along with Director, identifies idle equipment to be sold and provides input on equipment and attachments to be added to stock. Conducts performance reviews that are timely and constructive. Works with Director and Human Resources on hiring, discipline and termination needs of assigned sales team. Performs other duties as required. B.S. degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, preferred. Minimum of five years' sales experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills. Strong supervisor and leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
