Symrise - always inspiring more… Your role To lead fragrance development, evaluation and selection of consumer preferred fragrances to win in the marketplace.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Create Fragrance Development Strategy, providing olfactive guidance and creative inspiration to perfumery to develop the winning fragrance and successful proposal to customer briefs or proactive programs. Analyze client olfactive strategy and build action plan/ project timeline with Account Manager. Respect brief constraints (price, deadline, toxicology, etc.) and where appropriate, challenge brief constraints in line with market knowledge and customer selection process. Assist sales in the coherent and efficient coordination between all the departments involved in the project. Coordinate domestic/global resources when appropriate. Proactively develop and test fragrances to prepare for future customer briefings Work with Marketing on leading trend fragrance concepts, develop proactively and assure library of fragrances is robust for fast submissions. Work closely with Applied Research on developing winning fragrances for new technologies.

OLFACTIVE EXCELLENCE

Create and maintain category and customer olfactive strategies based on fragrance trends, competitive landscape and client portfolio analysis. Continue to build olfactive knowledge within appropriate markets by staying current on market trends and new product introductions. Communicate olfactive direction and guidance to Perfumers for winning fragrance submissions.

CUSTOMER PARTNERSHIP

Participate in the building of a strong professional relationship with customers. Understand customer vision and brand strategy to determine current and future fragrance needs. Communicate value of fragrance concepts and proposals informally to customer or in formal presentation setting. About you Bachelor's Degree (preferably in marketing, chemistry, business) Minimum 5 years Fragrance Development experience Excellent olfactive capabilities with winning track record in the industry English required, additional languages a plus Business acumen Consumer and market understanding Strong project management skills Global orientation a plus Possibility to travel both domestically and abroad Our offer Become part of our open and transparent culture. Pay Transparency Disclosure:

The expected annual salary range for this position is

USD 140000.00 - USD 180000.00.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
