Job Description:
The University at Albany seeks an accomplished higher education professional to serve as Director of Part-time MBA Programs for the Massry School of Business. The Director will serve as the primary administrator for the Part-Time Weekend MBA for Executives ? managing its admissions, scheduling, budget, alumni relations, and operations ? while also providing supporting recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts across the School's broader part-time MBA portfolio, including the Evening MBA and online MBA. The Director will lead recruiting, admissions, advisement, retention, and alumni relations for the Part-Time Weekend MBA for Executives Program, and extend recruiting and employer-relations support to the Evening and online MBA programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrator for the Part-Time Weekend MBA for Executives, overseeing admissions, academic advisement, class scheduling, budget and financial tracking, alumni relations, and the program's biennial international trip. Develop and execute recruitment strategies across all Part-Time MBA programs; represent the programs at recruiting events, information sessions, and yield activities, and respond to prospective student inquiries. Build and maintain relationships with local and regional businesses, government agencies, and alumni to establish a pipeline of prospective students across all part-time programs and identify potential program instructors; visit companies to host tabling events and presentations and pursue collaborative recruitment opportunities across campus. Work with Massry's Manager of Communications and Marketing on program web content, social media, and CRM-based email campaigns; regularly review Slate prospects and compile recruitment activity reports for the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs. Administer the admissions process for the Weekend MBA for Executives, including application review, faculty coordination, candidate interviews, and communication of admission decisions. Serve as the primary point of contact and academic advisor for Weekend MBA for Executives students; support retention by monitoring academic progress, addressing probationary status, and working with at-risk students; plan orientations and manage official student communications (incorporating EAB). Conduct degree audits and clearance reviews for the Weekend MBA for Executives, and manage information flow to campus offices on registration, billing, graduation, and student records across all part-time programs. Reestablish and support the Weekend MBA for Executives Alumni Board; host alumni/student networking events, including the annual Weekend MBA for Executives alumni networking event, to support alumni engagement and recruitment goals. Demonstrated ability to build and run recruitment campaigns, including employer outreach. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to represent the School to external constituents, including employers, alumni, and the local business community. Familiarity with Slate, EAB, and/or Handshake, or comparable CRM and recruitment platforms. Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization. 5+ years of full-time, post-graduate professional experience in higher education administration, business/corporate environments, or a combination of both. Experience advising, counseling, and developing programs for college/graduate students.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of full-time, post-graduate professional experience in higher education administration, business/corporate environments, or a combination of both. Experience working with working professionals, executive-level students, or adult learners in a graduate or professional program setting. Experience building relationships with corporate recruiters, hiring managers, or employer partners in a career services or talent acquisition context.

Professional Rank and Salary Grade:
Staff Associate, SL4, $75,000-85,000.
