Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Director to join our firm in Port Washington. This role is designed for a leader ready to step into a strategic capacity, with a clear, defined path to Partnership. You will play a critical role in managing high-net-worth client relationships and overseeing complex tax engagements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage tax compliance and planning engagements, with a heavy focus on 1040s and gift tax. Provide high-level advisory services to high-net-worth individuals. Mentor and supervise staff, ensuring technical accuracy and efficiency. Actively participate in business development and firm leadership activities.
Requirements:
CPA designation. Strong experience in public accounting, specifically with 1040s and gift tax planning. Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead teams. Ability to work in our Port Washington, NY office 4 days per week.
