$29.50 - 31.75/hr. with benefit inclusions Job Summary This role supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of customer-focused training programs for a large, distributed dealer and service organization. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders to develop instructional content aligned to business needs, applies formal instructional design methodologies, and evaluates training effectiveness through performance data and ROI analysis. This is an individual contributor role based on-site in Peoria, IL, with limited domestic travel. Responsibilities Assist with developing and delivering training modules, courses, and programs aligned to customer service processes Ensure training materials remain relevant, accurate, and compliant with organizational policies and procedures Conduct business needs analysis to inform course design and learning strategies Gather and analyze customer service performance data to measure training effectiveness and ROI Monitor training outcomes and recommend improvements to increase program impact Review, update, and maintain instructional materials using accepted instructional design standards Partner with internal stakeholders to support ongoing training operations and initiatives Support training-related activities for a geographically distributed audience, including dealers and internal teams Years of Experience and Education Two years of relevant instructional design or training experience required, regardless of education level Instructional Design Certificate acceptable with a minimum of four years of relevant work experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field required Internships may be considered if directly related to instructional design Comparable background may include roles such as Instructional Designer, Curriculum Designer, ISD, Education Designer, Training Designer, or Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist Skills Required Proven ability to design and develop effective training courses and learning programs Experience performing business needs analysis to align training solutions with organizational goals Strong working knowledge of current instructional design standards and methodologies Demonstrated experience applying ADDIE models and adult learning principles Ability to analyze data, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements Strong consulting, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality service in a training environment Experience supporting training operations and day-to-day learning initiatives Familiarity with learning authoring tools such as dominKnow ONE (preferred) Experience conducting DACUM events and assessment tools such as Questionmark (preferred) Ability to work as an individual contributor; this role is not a people-management position On-site role in Peoria, IL; remote work is not supported Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically within the U.S. #LI-MJ1 #
