Our client, a highly respected institution, is seeking a Development Programs Manager to design and lead high‑impact development programs that strengthen donor engagement and advance global philanthropic initiatives. In this strategic role, you'll shape a major international convening, oversee program vision and sponsorship strategy, and guide high‑level stakeholder participation. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in advancement, development programming, or complex stakeholder‑driven initiatives, with a strong background in strategic event programming.

Required Responsibilities include developing and driving the programmatic strategy for a major international development convening; managing sponsorship strategy and partnership engagement; leading agenda design, content themes, and speaker direction; overseeing registration planning, program reporting, and stakeholder communications; recruiting and engaging committee members and site partners; supporting signature advancement programs aligned with institutional travel, fundraising initiatives, and donor-facing experiences; and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment with advancement goals and brand positioning. The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of experience in advancement or executive‑level program management; proven success leading complex, high‑visibility initiatives; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with comfort engaging high‑level donors and executives; experience with strategic event programming or convenings; strong project management and fiscal planning abilities; and the ability to translate strategic objectives into operational plans in fast‑paced environments.
