Kids Summer Camp Director

SEASONAL POSITION

Kids Summer Camp Director The Country Club of Peoria is seeking a positive, energetic, and highly capable childcare professional. The candidate must be one who embodies and demonstrates a confident servant leadership style that promotes a positive culture with an emphasis on team development while maintaining the highest levels of member satisfaction. The Summer Camp Manager will report to the General Manager and Clubhouse Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, directs, coordinates, and manages our Club's Summer Kids Camp for Club members' children.
• Create and implement recreational activities and children's programs; supervise and communicate with staff.
• Plan coordinate, direct participate and manage the summer camp program.
• Hires, trains, supervises, and discharges staff. Manages a staff of 3-4 Camp Counselors.
• Leads children in exercise, on-ground and offsite field trips and other activities approved by the General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year of experience teaching and supervising children.
• At least 6 months in a manager or supervising role.
• Current American Red Cross Standard First Aid certification, or willingness to complete certification.
• Planning and executing children programs experience.
• Must possess excellent people and children's skills.

Excellent written and oral communications skills. A neat appearance, and pleasant personality, and wear the appropriate apparel for the position. Good judgment and decision-making abilities.

SCHEDULE

Seasonal Position:

June - August

• remote work and Kids Kamp set up beginning in May Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

COMPENSATION
