Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to drive growth through the acquisition and development of new 401(k) and qualified retirement plan business. This is an outside sales role responsible for generating revenue, managing prospect and client relationships, leading strategic retirement plan projects, and serving as a trusted advisor to plan sponsors and business owners. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of the qualified retirement plan marketplace and strong consultative sales skills. Key Responsibilities Generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through the sale of 401(k), profit sharing, cash balance, and other qualified retirement plans. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals. Cultivate relationships with business owners, CFOs, HR leaders, attorneys, CPAs, and referral partners. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and prospect records within the CRM platform. Manage and track sales opportunities, pipeline activity, and forecasting information within the CRM. Lead client-facing projects, including RFPs, vendor searches, benchmarking initiatives, plan conversions, and implementation projects. Support merger and acquisition (M&A) activity involving retirement plan due diligence, plan integration, and transition planning. Serve as a trusted advisor to retirement plan sponsors and key stakeholders. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful client outcomes. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in retirement plan sales, consulting, recordkeeping, or wealth management. Demonstrated experience in the qualified retirement plan marketplace. Proven ability to generate revenue through new retirement plan sales and business development. Strong project management, communications, and presentation skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Performance Expectation Achieve annual sales and revenue targets.
