Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and financial-minded Senior Account Manager to join our team in Washington State. In this role, you will lead customer acquisition, oversee high-value commercial client relationships, and drive revenue growth across the Pacific Northwest. You will combine deep customer relationship management with high-level financial planning, constructing budgets, precise financial forecasting, and market strategy to expand our sustainable recycling footprint.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development & Acquisition:
Design and execute strategic business plans to target, acquire, and onboard new high-volume commercial, municipal, and industrial recycling accounts across Washington.
Customer Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary strategic advisor to key clients, delivering long-term value, optimizing recycling program operations, and ensuring top-tier retention rates.
Financial Forecasting & Budget Development:
Own account financial modeling, annual revenue forecasting, P&L monitoring, and departmental budget development for client programs.
Data-Driven Solutions:
Analyze operational costs, commodity pricing trends, and volume metrics to structure competitive pricing proposals and maximize profit margins.
Sustainability & Compliance Leadership:
Guide clients on emerging Washington State environmental regulations, waste diversion goals, and sustainable supply chain practices.
Required Qualifications & Education Education:
MBA (Master of Business Administration) or Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related quantitative field.
Experience:
1+ years of progressive account management, strategic business development, or financial management experience (waste management, recycling, or environmental services industry experience preferred).
Financial Acumen:
Advanced skills in budget formulation, revenue forecasting, financial modeling, and margin optimization.
Strategic Execution:
Proven track record of B2B customer acquisition and strategic account expansion. Location Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Washington State, with the ability to travel locally to client sites.
Benefits & Compensation Base Salary:
$125,000 - $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
