Senior Finance Integration - Private Equity-Backed Platform (Mostly Remote) We are partnering with a private equity-backed operating platform to hire a Senior Finance Integration professional. This role supports acquisitions from diligence through close and post-close integration and works closely with finance leadership, acquired management teams, and M&A partners. The position is hands-on and execution-oriented, with a strong focus on finance process adoption, systems, and integration of newly acquired businesses. It is well-suited for someone coming from Big 4 audit, transaction services, or a PE-backed environment who wants broader exposure to deals and operating finance. The role is mostly remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S., provided the candidate is located near a major hub airport. Travel is flexible and seasonal, typically up to 25 percent, with heavier periods around transactions and lighter stretches between deals. Key responsibilities include supporting finance integration planning and execution, assisting with opening balance sheets and pro forma reporting, implementing accounting policies and reporting standards, supporting system and ERP integration, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions post-acquisition. The ideal background includes approximately 3 or more years of experience in audit, transaction services, or a private equity-owned company environment. Experience with PE-backed clients is strongly preferred. Candidates should be process-oriented, systems-curious, and comfortable communicating with both internal leadership and acquired company teams.
