Position Summary The Director of Global Operations & Strategic Development will lead the coordination, development, and operational integration of the company's global manufacturing operations and sourcing. With current operations in the United States, Italy, China, and India, this role will focus on strengthening operational alignment, expanding the company's presence in India, improving collaboration between international locations, and implementing best practices across all facilities. The position requires a highly collaborative leader capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on operational execution in a multicultural, global environment. International travel will be required to build relationships, support operational development, and ensure alignment across all regions. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this role will work closely with executive leadership including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources. Areas of focus and expertise include: Global Operations Leadership Coordinate operational activities across manufacturing and sourcing locations in the United States, Italy, China, and India Support the development and operational launch of the India location Drive alignment of manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and supply chain processes between all global facilities Manage global inventory visibility and controls by leveraging AI-enabled insights and corporate ERP systems to support informed decision-making, optimize supply allocation, and integrate operations into the company's ERP platform Identify and implement operational efficiencies and standardized best practices across locations Develop strong working relationships with international leadership teams and key suppliers Strategic Development Assist in establishing long-term operational strategies supporting global growth objectives Evaluate opportunities for sourcing optimization, production balancing, and cost improvement Support global capacity planning and intercompany logistics coordination Promote collaboration and communication between locations to improve responsiveness and execution Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support customer requirements and regional growth initiatives Work with Finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost management Collaborate with Human Resources on organizational development, talent acquisition, and cultural alignment initiatives Support continuous improvement initiatives across all business functions Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal leadership teams Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration across all global operations Serve as a key operational liaison between international locations Travel & Global Presence Travel internationally on a regular basis to support operations, supplier relationships, and facility development Maintain a visible leadership presence across all company locations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred 7+ years of experience in global manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or sourcing leadership Experience preferred working across multiple international regions, including Asia and Europe Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, sourcing strategies, logistics, and supply chain management Proven ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Experience supporting international business expansion strongly preferred Willingness and ability to travel internationally extensively Success Metrics/ KPIs Successful operational development and integration of India location Improved collaboration and communication between global facilities Reduction in operational inefficiencies and supply chain disruptions Replicate and/or standardized best practices across locations Cost optimization and productivity gains On-time delivery and quality performance metrics Employee engagement and leadership development across regions Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven global leader who can operate strategically while remaining engaged in day-to-day operational execution. They must be comfortable navigating cultural differences, building trust internationally, and driving alignment between diverse teams and facilities They should possess strong business judgement, operational discipline, and the ability to influence without direct authority across global locations They should have strength in humility. Being capable of their abilities, but recognizing the value of people in their current roles and utilizing the strengths of those people and processes
