Acara Healthcare, one of the largest providers of quality in-home health care in the state of Texas is seeking an innovator and leader as a Branch Director . Acara Healthcare's Personal Care provides industry-leading in-home care in the markets of Central and South Texas. We have various locations in Central and South Texas in the markets of Austin, San Antonio, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Harlingen, Laredo, McAllen, Pearsall, Robstown, Uvalde, and Rio Grande City. We are growing and adding positions to our team! The job duties for the position of the Branch Director are listed below.
Job Summary:
This leadership role focuses on operational excellence, team development, regulatory compliance, and business growth strategies while maintaining our core values
Job Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in home health, personal care, or a related healthcare field. 2 years of Director experience
Skills:
Proven expertise in Texas Medicaid regulations for personal in-home care services and EVV compliance management. Strong strategic thinking, time management, and multi-tasking skills. Experience in team leadership, recruitment, and retention strategies. Bilingual in English and Spanish

Duties/Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Compliance:
Develops, plans, implements, analyzes and organizes operations for the branch Ensure adherence to Texas Medicaid regulations and ACHC standards for personal care services. Implement and manage EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) compliance protocols for timely billing and revenue optimization.
Strategic Growth and Community Engagement:
Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to support census stabilization and growth. Represent Acara Healthcare at local hiring events and community partnerships to enhance visibility and referral generation.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff, emphasizing education, support, and accountability. Oversee recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives, including participation in the Branch Director Mentor Program.
Financial Management:
Maintain branch profitability by managing P&L performance, controlling operational costs, and supporting hiring strategies to reduce overtime. Ensure proper financial documentation and payroll accuracy.
Client & Caregiver Satisfaction:
Build a positive branch culture by focusing on caregiver engagement and retention strategies, including monthly in-office engagement events for paystub distribution and EVV training. Address and resolve client concern promptly while maintaining high service standards.
