Job Description

Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Surgical Services Manager. The Manager provides operational and clinical leadership for Surgical Services, including perioperative services, sterile processing, and related procedural areas. The Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, patient-centered care delivery in accordance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practice. Serves as a working leader who supports direct patient care as needed. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Wisconsin RN license 3+ years of experience working in an OR CPR certification ACLS certification PALS certification Preferred Qualifications Master's degree 1+ years of leadership experience Arrhythmia class Basic 12 Lead class Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records Ability to anticipate, understand, and manage patient expectations and provide consistent delivery of services Clearly and effectively convey information to patients Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities, able to acknowledge when commitments are not met, and take appropriate steps to fulfill responsibility Ability to clearly and effectively convey information to individuals or groups, including ability to choose the appropriate method or methods of communication Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems while using sound judgment Exhibit an independent drive and demonstrated ability to lead change
