Job Description:

Coordinate the schedules and routes of truck drivers Arrange for the pickup and delivery of freight, considering customer time frames Act as the liaison between drivers and vendors Ensure dispatched drivers are compliant with route requirements Record and maintain all relevant data, including driver's hours, delivery locations, freight information, etc. Intake customer complaints and inquiries Receive emergency and non-emergency calls Resolve or report issues in a timely and professional manner Keep customers informed of delivery dates and times, and communicate with drivers to troubleshoot delays Use various software to bill operations, track containers, and complete other daily activities Log calls, review driver logs, and keep records of freight, routes, etc. Other duties as needed

Job Requirements:

What Skills do you need!? At least 3 years Dispatch experience in Trucking Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing trucking operations Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations Attention to detail Ability to multitask Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed

Wage Range:

44000.00 - 55000.00 per year
