Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dispatcher NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) to coordinate and manage transportation services for clients requiring non-emergency medical travel. In this vital role, you will serve as the central communication hub, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient transportation arrangements. Your responsibilities and exceptional organizational skills will help facilitate seamless transit operations, contributing to improved client experiences and operational excellence. Responsibilities Receive and prioritize transportation requests via multi-line phone systems, email, or online platforms, ensuring prompt response and accurate data entry. Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms to schedule, dispatch, and monitor vehicle routes. Coordinate with drivers, clients, healthcare providers, and third-party logistics partners to confirm pick-up and drop-off times, locations, and special requirements. Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including shift logs, incident reports, and client documentation Support fleet management by tracking vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Skills Proficiency with transportation management systems such as Mediroutes Strong analysis skills to evaluate route efficiency, optimize dispatching processes, and troubleshoot issues proactively. Experience with GPS technology, GIS mapping tools, and transportation planning to enhance service delivery. Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for interacting with clients, drivers, and healthcare providers. Ability to perform data entry accurately under pressure while managing multi-line phone systems simultaneously. Familiarity with fleet management practices including vehicle tracking and maintenance coordination. Pay:
