President About the Role The Logistics Manager is responsible for achieving outstanding customer satisfaction while managing the day-to-day logistics operations. Works directly with the Business Performance Manager to manage the daily activity of the operations, drivers, and equipment operators to meet established goals for a safe and efficient operation. Must possess the ability to multi-task while handling each customer request with attention to detail and documenting requirements and commitments to ensure accuracy in expectations. Must also be able to communicate effectively, and with a customer-focused attitude. Core Responsibilities Relationship Management Develop close working relationships with customers to understand their specific needs and continue to ensure we are the supplier of choice. Focus on customer service satisfaction and expectation management. Develop strong working relationships with competing suppliers to ensure we have options available for use of our company equipment if necessary. Project Management Obtain and verify customer orders, match quotes, schedule and material availability for all projects. Coordinate project schedule with supporting personnel, assign appropriate resources based on skill and electronically dispatch jobs to the fleet. Assign the appropriate resources and personal skills to a job to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability are maximized for all jobs including short days and single loads. Monitor and manage jobs real time using GPS system to ensure jobs are running per plan by checking cycle times and conveying any anomalies to leadership. Reroute, assign, or reschedule jobs within your discretion based on needs to ensure the safe and efficient completion of projects. Ensure the proper and timely delivery of material to the Company's customers to ensure the Company is compliant with all customer contracts. Address customer issues as they arise and find a way to complete a customer order within the terms of the customer contract. Always convey the importance of time whether it's with company drivers, a mechanic on the way to a road call, or a client that might be holding up production to ensure the timely completion of a job. Monitor and ensure team members are operating within their Department of Transportation driving hour limits. Remove or reassign team members as necessary to ensure compliance. Ensure clear and consistent communication with drivers, on-site support, leadership and administrators. When Saturday work is necessary, it is expected that you perform all typical related duties as if it were any other day of the week. If you are going to be unavailable on a weekend, you must notify the President, in advance of being requested to work. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Driver Team Member Performance Motivate and provide supportive leadership to team members through a positive attitude. Through positive relationship building ensure we continue to be the employer of choice. Work proactively with Leadership to timely communicate employee performance issues. Reporting and Documentation Create and distribute daily dispatch report and KPIs. Ensure all required paperwork for each project is compiled daily for the billing department as required. Assistance with job administration and documentation as required. Job requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel Knowledge of Samsara is a plus Capable of multi-tasking, excellent time management skills and highly organized. Proven record of managing multiple projects at a time. Self-driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Job requires sitting most of the time, with some walking and standing for brief periods. Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate to employees, customers and suppliers. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
