The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics and ensuring efficient fleet management. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze data effectively to optimize dispatch operations. Duties Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery. Coordinate with drivers and service personnel to schedule and assign tasks efficiently. Monitor fleet movements and provide real-time updates to stakeholders. Analyze logistics data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and service requests through effective data entry practices. Communicate with customers regarding service inquiries, updates, and resolutions in a professional manner. Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure seamless operations. Utilize phone etiquette skills to handle inbound calls effectively while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management is preferred. Familiarity with fleet management systems and 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes. Must know how to work with Quickbooks Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Proficient in data entry and maintaining detailed records accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of freight operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
