Job Description
Job Description on/Requirements Constant Staffing is seeking a Dispatcher in the city of Compton with flexible schedule availability. The position currently offers 32 hours but may be full-time in the future. Depending on business needs, the candidate may be asked to work overtime. Candidate will be working a rotating schedule with Monday, Friday, and Saturday set workday and 4th day will rotate. Apply Now!

- This position manages the daily movement of freight, acting as the central hub between drivers, clients, and warehouse staff.
Responsibilities:
Load Management:
Book, assign, and coordinate freight loads to maximize fleet efficiency and minimize empty miles.Route Optimization:
Utilize Transportation Management Systems to plan the most efficient routes and adjust them in real time for traffic or road closures.Driver Coordination:
Instruct drivers on pickup/drop-off locations, special handling requirements, and manage their schedules.Communication & Customer Service:
Provide proactive delivery updates to clients, resolve complaints, and handle last-minute order changes.Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all drivers adhere to Department of Transportation regulations and track hours of service (HOS).Problem Solving:
Mitigate unexpected issues such as truck breakdowns, port congestion, or dock delays.Requirements:
1yr minimum experience in dispatching, transportation, or supply chain operations. Ability to perform repetitive tasks Detail Oriented. Team player.- Must be reliable, punctual and able to follow directions.
