Job Title:

Plumbing & HVAC Dispatcher Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Plumbing & HVAC Dispatcher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills who can effectively coordinate technicians, manage schedules, and provide exceptional customer service. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our plumbing and HVAC service department.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer inbound customer calls and respond professionally to inquiries. Perform outbound calls to schedule appointments, confirm service visits, and follow up with customers. Schedule and dispatch plumbing and HVAC technicians efficiently based on priority, location, and skill set. Manage and maintain the daily service schedule to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. Create, process, and maintain purchase orders. Monitor job progress and communicate schedule updates with technicians and customers. Assist with collections and follow up on outstanding customer balances. Maintain accurate customer records, service history, and job documentation. Coordinate with management and field staff to ensure seamless operations. Handle emergency service requests and adjust schedules as needed. Support administrative functions and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous dispatching experience in Plumbing, HVAC, or a related service industry preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Team player with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. Proficiency with dispatching software, Microsoft Office, and general computer systems. Experience creating purchase orders, managing service schedules, and handling collections is preferred. Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC terminology and service operations is a plus.

$22.95 - $27.64 per hour
