Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Trucking Dispatch professional to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role requires a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to ensure smooth operations in the dispatch process. The ideal candidate will work closely with the team to coordinate and manage the daily schedules of truck drivers efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating daily schedules and dispatching drivers to appropriate locations in a timely manner.

Maintaining clear and consistent communication with drivers, ensuring that they have the necessary information for their routes.

Addressing and resolving any issues that may arise during the transportation process to minimize delays and disruptions.

Updating and maintaining accurate records of dispatch activities and driver performance.

Collaborating with the field operations team to align logistics and operational goals.

Monitoring transportation costs and implementing cost-effective strategies where possible.

Providing exceptional customer service to clients by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Experience in dispatching or a related logistics role is preferred.

Proficiency in using dispatch software and other related technology.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
