Your primary objective will be to serve as the central communication hub between drivers, clients, and management, facilitating seamless logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. This role demands skills to monitor multiple tasks simultaneously and proactively address any issues that may arise during transit. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to optimizing fleet performance, minimizing delays, and upholding safety and regulatory standards throughout the transportation process.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in dispatching within the transportation or logistics industry. Proficiency in fleet management and logistics software. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced fleet maintenance coordination. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS). Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Customer service experience in a passenger transportation settingResponsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule daily dispatch operations to ensure on-time service Monitor fleet status and driver locations using logistics management systems to optimize route efficiency. Ensure all dispatch activities comply with company policies, maintaining accurate records for audits. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues, provide updates, and manage expectations. Manage fleet maintenance schedules by coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize vehicle downtime. Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing inquiries and dispatch requests with professionalism and accuracy. Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, making real-time decisions to maintain operational flow.Skills:
