Job Description

Summary Chenega & NASA are seeking a PSCC Dispatcher in Edwards AFB, CA to serve as a critical communications professional, managing 911 emergency calls, security systems, fire alarms, and CCTV monitoring in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for candidates with dispatch experience who can remain calm under pressure and support emergency response operations. Responsibilities Monitor and operate 911 emergency lines, administrative telephone systems, fire/security alarms, and CCTV systems. Receive, track, document, and maintain accurate chronological records of incidents and emergency events. Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including reporting for duty during hurricanes, disasters, and declared emergencies. Maintain flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and other assigned duties as required. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. At least one year of dispatch or related communications experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Strong ability to work in high-pressure environments while managing multiple priorities and sensitive information. Successfully pass background and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous 911 dispatch experience. Experience with records management, report preparation, and administrative support functions. Familiarity with standard office procedures, business communications, and modern office equipment. Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $32.89/Hr.
