Dispatcher Lyneer Staffing Solutions•3.3 Hayward, CA Job Details Full-time $20•$23 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Productivity software Quality data entry Full Job Description Our client, a logistics and transportation solutions company, is looking for a Transportation Dispatcher to join their team in Hayward, CA . In this role, you will coordinate daily delivery and pickup operations, manage field team scheduling and routing, and serve as the central point of communication between clients and drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Set appointments and maintain the dispatch log for all deliveries and pickups as directed by clients and colleagues Contact delivery and collection points 24-48 hours in advance to confirm readiness and scheduling Design daily routes based on appointments, commitments, and operational efficiency Schedule field team members and assign routes accordingly Upload daily routes into Magaya and generate company documents including Cargo Releases, Pick Up/Delivery Order Tickets, and Route Manifests Ensure timely issuance and accuracy of all required property documents such as Certificates of Insurance (COI) Monitor all dispatched routes throughout the day using radio, telephone, and Samsara Ensure field team compliance with company policies regarding breaks, lunches, and safe equipment operation Oversee proper and timely maintenance of company trucks and vehicles and maintain updated maintenance logs Assist with client debt collection as needed
Requirements:
Ability to multitask effectively under pressure with minimal supervision Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with proven data entry experience Familiarity with Magaya and Samsara platforms is a plus Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations Strong knowledge of geographical regions within company operations Creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions
Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate:
$20.00•$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM•5:00
PM Pay:
$20.00•$23.00 per hour
