LIONESS ANSWERING SERVICE IS LOOKING FOR A DISPATCHER!
Looking for a professional level candidate. Experience in a related field is a plus. Experience withDISPATCHING
a BIG plus. We will train the right candidate with or without experience. We are looking for an experienced dispatcher at a busy service company. Our dispatchers take a lead role in coordinating thousands of calls per month. Individual MUST be reliable, able to multi-task, professional, and can handle a very busy and demanding work environment. It also requires excellent customer service skills, heavy phones, and computer data input. You will be dispatching a high volume of calls, account and police tows, answering phones, and miscellaneous internet based tasks. We pride ourselves on setting standards through customer service, professionalism, and quality of work. - Computer literate, 35wpm.
Summary:
Assigns proper truck and driver for pickup, recovery and/or storage of broken-down, damaged, impounded or abandoned vehicles.Skills needed:
- Outstanding customer service

- Able to self-manage with minimal supervision at times
- Creative problem solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a continuous learning environment
- Ability to multitask and work in a challenging, fast paced environment
- Familiar with bay area cities and roads a plus
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with fellow team members
- Answer phones in a timely friendly and professional manner. Investigate their needs to dispatch the proper truck.
- Monitor and dispatch all calls from our computer program/system.
- Keep accurate records of drivers arrival and departure times, tow destinations, COD charges, clearing all calls with accurate documentation.
- Use GPS tools to track location of our vehicles for prompt dispatch with no delays in providing service.
- Exchange information with dispatcher during shift change to ensure they are informed and ready for business.
- Bilingual a PLUS We're seeking long term employees. This industry operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all Holidays so the hours do vary.
- MUST be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
