General Office/ Dispatcher Navarro's Towing - 3.0 Monterey Park, CA Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Foreign language proficiency Spanish Customer communication Customer service English Administrative experience Dispatching Data entry Clean workspace maintenance Leadership Full Job Description We are looking for a reliable general office employee to act as a member of our office team here at Navarro's Towing in working independently out of our Monterey Park or Whittier location. You will receive requests, transmit messages and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. Responsibilities Enter vehicles into our database which are impunded or stored by the police agencies that we work with on a daily basis. Address the questions of registered owners of impounded or stored vehicles regarding the issues surrounding their vehicle. Release vehicles with appropriate documentation to authorized persons. Check vehicles on a daily basis for lien status Provide drivers with necessary forms and supplies to complete their daily tasks. Monitor the lot inventory of vehicles in the yard Process paperwork for law enforcement officials regarding stored vehicles and facilitate inspections for them of those vehicles. General daily duties regarding keeping office and yard in a clean and safe state Skills Experience as dispatcher/release clerk for towing company is recommended Tow Office experience preferable Be able to be professional at all times in communicating with both drivers and customers to eliminate any issues or misunderstandings Must have ability to speak Spanish fluently Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations Proficient in English (oral and written) Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities Active listener with excellent communication skills Sound judgement and critical thinking High school diploma Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
