Responsibilities:

Coordinate transportation activities between our main production facility, third party vendors and LAX Airport Manage on time delivery of products, goods and services Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate transportation activities Monitor all aircraft arrival/departure timings and other operational updates Supervise, motivate, and assist a large team of drivers and driver helpers (including schedules and documentation) Comply with all LAX, CBP, DOT and all other applicable rules/regulations Receive important incoming calls/information from airline clients and the airport and communicate it to respective departments Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team Ensure all vehicles are in working condition (i.e. compliance, fueling, maintenance) Process all meal ordering information and reassure prompt and correct distribution to all departments involved Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Upkeep and maintain food safety

Qualifications:

Min. 1-2 years of work experience Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment Excellent planning and coordination skills Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service Solution seeker and effective decision maker Hands-on in order to make sure all flights are successfully dispatched on time The ability to manage quickly to overcome any deficiencies in the transportation department Requirements necessary to obtain a LAWA Airport ID with a Drivers Icon and CBP Icon Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays) Diversity & Inclusion statement DO & CO provides equal employment opportunities.
