Job Description

Henner Tank Lines, Inc. a premier contract carrier is looking for a motivated and professional Dispatch writer who works with the dispatcher to assist the day-to-day route operations. His/her duties involve daily communication and interaction with drivers and clients. He/she must also organize and conduct activities to assure safe, cost-effective, on-time operating performance of the drivers. We are Employee owned and LOCAL. Schedule Shift AM (Thursday to Sunday) 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
Compensation:
$22-$26 DOE Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.
Job Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously. Ability to Handle High volume of Phone calls. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations. Entering Load Information / Create loads in dispatch system Check the customer emails and responds accordingly. Check dispatch board and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day The ability to take on future work from the customer. Ability to learn inventory management systems .
Additional Duties:
Willing to take on other job duties as assigned by management to support the team and business operations.
Talent Requirements:
Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast pace environment. Effective Oral, written and Communication Skills. Demonstrate a high customer service commitment in a professional manner. Knowledge of the California Bay Area is a plus. Positive, patient and helpful attitude.
Education:
High school or equivalent Offered compensation: $22/hr - $26/hr Experience and License Requirements Customer Service Microsoft Office
