Main Dispatch / Office Manager

As Dispatcher, you will serve as the vital link between customers, employees and plant operators at 3 different plant locations. Dispatcher works closely with employees and plant operators to communicate changes to orders quickly. Primary duty will be scheduling orders for three plant locations. Ability to schedule efficiently is a requirement, working with plant/batch operators closely to ensure scheduling availability. Confirmation of orders for the next day's schedule occurs daily and requires communicating with customer contacts in order to confirm their order details. Daily weighing/invoicing of gravel purchases, which involves basic math skills. Position also assists with invoicing and product inventory of secondary products at plants such as pre-cast concrete blocks, culverts, headgates and equipment rentals.

Must be proficient at:

•Using Google sheets and spreadsheets Communicating via multiple devices including multi-line phone, 2 way radio system, text messages, cell phone and email Taking orders efficiently and accurately Working with other team members concisely, efficiently and directly Tasks include: Answering a high-volume of incoming calls with customers, providing the highest level of customer service at all times, and in all situations handling customers professionally and courteously Handling order cancellations, changes, etc with a positive demeanor, communicating those changes immediately to plant managers Serve as liaison between customer issues and plant managers, mechanical/equipment problems and mechanics, and relaying important information quickly and concisely Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, plant managers and employees Monitor and track deliveries, working with plant managers to ensure we are on-time and providing product as ordered Ensuring accuracy of orders taken and communicating those orders accurately and efficiently to plant managers / batchmen Communicating start times via text to Meeker crew on daily basis and other plant crews as necessary Calculating totals and collecting payments prior to pours / orders for COD customers. Pricing out products accurately to customers as requested. Collection of past due balances from customers on a monthly basis, or more frequently as necessary.
