Job Description

Job Overview Redeker Excavating LLC , Colorado's leading energy-industry-focused excavating company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. We are based out of Castle Rock, CO with recurring jobs across the State of Colorado . We do the jobs no one else can on the most-scenic worksites in Colorado. Plenty of Overtime, Double Overtime opportunities, bonuses, extra per diem pay for out-of-town work, and better-than-most benefits make this the best job you'll ever have! This role involves operating various types of machinery, proficiency in grading and finish grading, and ensuring safety and efficiency. Due to the scope of our projects min. 6 year's experience is required, 10 years is preferred. You must have excellent finish grading skills. Responsibilities
  • Operate grading & earthmoving equipment (skid steers, loaders, dozers, excavators, etc.) under the supervision of a foreman or manager without additional training.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members on the construction site to achieve project goals with punctuality, reliability, positive attitude and respectful communication with clients and other employees.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including daily safety tailgate meetings
  • Complete timesheet daily to accurately record completed activity on each project.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report any significant concerns to supervisors. Qualifications
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, minimum 6 years experience min.(10 years preferred)
  • Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
  • Reliable transportation to shop or jobsite, a valid driver's license, a clean MVR to be insurable, CDL not required but does raise pay tier.
  • Proper I-9 qualifications to work in the United States
  • In state travel during the week will be required. Home weekends in most cases. All hotels provided up front and a nightly per diem paid above industry standards included when you work out of town. Benefits
