What will your job look like? MTM Transit is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to support day-to-day transportation operations. In this role, you will coordinate routes and trips, communicate with drivers, and help ensure safe, efficient, and on-time service. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality transportation services while maintaining compliance with company and client procedures. This position is contingent on the award of contract.

Okaloosa County, FL Starting Rate:
$17.70 What You'll Do (Essential Functions) Answer calls and assist with ride dispatching Organize and assign trips based on schedules, locations, and operational efficiency Provide drivers with directions and real-time support Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling or routing issues Maintain consistent communication with drivers and transportation providers Monitor service via radio and telephone to ensure quality performance Record trip details including departure times, destinations, and expected returns Report and document incidents, delays, no-shows, or service issues Notify providers of next-day schedules and any new trips Provide feedback on driver performance What We're Looking For (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and timeliness Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience using scheduling software and two-way radio communication Basic data analysis skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Dependable attendance and reliability Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of dispatching, routing, or scheduling experience preferred Experience with transit scheduling systems preferred Knowledge of GPS/GIS systems preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States What's in it for you Health and Life Insurance Plans Dental and Vision Plans 401(k) with a company match
