Job Description
Logistics Dispatcher Integrity Laundry Services is hiring a Logistics Dispatcher / Customer Support Coordinator to support daily delivery operations for our commercial laundry service. This role helps coordinate drivers, prepare delivery manifests, enter shipment weights into our billing system, communicate ETAs to customers, and make sure deliveries and pickups are completed accurately. The right person will be organized, dependable, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position. While there is computer, phone, and customer communication work involved, this role also requires physical work in a hot, fast-paced laundry environment. Candidates should be prepared to sweat, move quickly, push and pull heavy linen carts, and help load trucks when needed. Responsibilities Coordinate daily delivery routes and driver assignments. Enter clean linen weights into the billing system. Create and update shipping manifests for outgoing deliveries. Help load trucks in proper delivery order. Push, pull, stage, and move heavy linen carts as needed. Monitor route progress and confirm completed stops. Communicate delivery and pickup ETAs to customers. Answer customer questions regarding deliveries, pickups, delays, and follow-up needs. Track missed pickups, delayed deliveries, and items needing return trips. Notify customers when pickups cannot be completed on the current run and provide an estimated return time. Forecast daily delivery volume and alert the Logistics Manager when additional drivers or trucks may be needed. Make sure drivers complete required truck inspections and return signed manifests. Escalate urgent service issues to the Logistics Manager or management team. Keep clear notes on delivery issues, customer requests, and follow-up items. Qualifications Previous dispatch, logistics, customer service, transportation, or warehouse experience preferred. Strong communication skills by phone, text, and email. Good computer and data-entry skills. Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail with weights, manifests, delivery records, and customer information. Able to stay calm and make good decisions in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and willingness to work during busy periods. Comfortable working in a hot, physically demanding environment. Able to push, pull, and move heavy linen carts and assist with loading trucks. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required. Schedule Full-time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Holidays are considered regular workdays due to peak business volume. Hours may vary based on business needs and delivery volume. Must be willing to work during busy seasonal periods. Work Environment This position works closely with drivers, production teams, pack-out, and management. The role requires frequent communication, problem-solving, and follow-through to make sure customer deliveries are completed and customers receive timely updates. This is a commercial laundry and logistics environment. The work can be hot, busy, and physically demanding. This position may require standing, walking, pushing heavy carts, staging orders, helping load trucks, and moving quickly to support delivery operations. Pay Pay is based on experience.
