Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate transportation activities, manage freight logistics, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will ensure efficient dispatching, timely deliveries, and seamless communication between drivers, clients, and internal teams. Duties Dispatch freight and transportation requests promptly Coordinate with drivers and Suppliers daily to schedule pickups, deliveries, and help with sales to fill the schedule for optimal efficiency. Communicate effectively with customers via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills. Monitor fleet management operations, including shipping schedules, and delivery confirmations through GPS tracking and calling to confirm the loads were delivered for the next day of proper scheduling. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and suppliers. Experience Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment is highly preferred. Strong familiarity with Construction materials we buy and sell is essential, Limerock, Aggregate products and different sand application knowledge would be helpful as well of knowing the Jacksonville and surrounding locations would be very helpful for this application. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally while demonstrating strong phone etiquette. This is not a high turnover position for us we are looking for a long term employe.
