$17.00 per hour Primary Purpose and Function Security Officer / Dispatcher We are seeking a professional, dependable Security Officer / Dispatcher to join our team. This position combines on-site security responsibilities with dispatch and communications duties to help ensure the safety and security of our clients, employees, and property.
Responsibilities:
Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Dispatch security personnel to incidents, service calls, and emergencies. Maintain communication with officers via radio, phone, and computer systems. Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as assigned. Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and security breaches. Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and dispatch logs. Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel when necessary. Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous security, dispatch, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and report-writing skills. Valid driver's license and security license (if required by state regulations). Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
