Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities Primary Job Role Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wears and enforces wearing proper personal protective equipment. Utilizes PM Due Report, EMT, DBS and other relevant systems to assign work to the PM Technicians. Assists the PM Technicians and customers, as necessary, to determine optimal scheduling for the customer and equipment. Stays up-to-date on work status of PM Technicians and makes necessary adjustments to achieve the goal of completing all PM Services within the scheduled interval and in the most efficient time. Handles call in service from external and internal customers with professionalism and sense of urgency. Follows up with customers as PM Services are completed by providing accurate and timeline PM Checklists. Use various Dealer Business System (DBS) menus to manage Preventative Maintenance operations and work orders. Supports PM Technicians and conducts activities to ensure the successful and accurate management of the end-to-end work order process. Ensures the appearance, maintenance and the condition of technicians, equipment, tooling, and trucks is kept at the highest level per company guidelines. Assures vehicle and tooling inspections/maintenance are completed and accurate. Schedules and conducts Safety Meetings on relevant topics, keeps attendee list documented and saved. Actively leads the development of Preventative Maintenance Technician through frequent coaching and formal performance reviews. Supports the selection and hiring of PM technicians and trainees. Performs other duties as assigned.
