About the Role This position reports to the Ready Force Manager at Bermex and plays a key role in sending daily utility jobs to installation techs via computer for residential and/or commercial accounts. In addition, you will validate their installation work for accuracy. This position requires a high degree of organization, strong attention to details and effective communication skills (written and verbal). What You will Do Dispatch jobs to
Field Service Techs:
Sort and separate field service work orders and send to service techs in the field Dispatch utility jobs to installation techs first thing in the mornings and periodically throughout the day Route work to installation techs by dispatching work orders to a handheld device Intensely focus on multiple tasks throughout the day Validate installation tech installs as they come in throughout the day, sending back any that need revised Provide accurate documentation to management: Use good judgement and make sound decisions in accordance with policies and procedures Assist with administrative duties as assigned Other duties as assigned.
About You Must haves:
Education:
High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
1 year of experience with industry-specific knowledge; must possess a valid driver's license Nice to haves:
Education:
Associate's degree
Experience:
2 or more years of experience in dispatchingand/or validating.
Your Skills:
Ability to multi-task, and work independently or in a team environment Exceptional flexibility in daily routines and route scheduling Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with management and customers Ability to interact with unhappy customers in a professional manner Strong attention to details and organization skills Good working knowledge of computers and software systems is essential in sending, receiving, and reviewing orders This role would not be a good fit if you: Do not enjoy working independently Are not flexible and do not enjoy adapting to your current work schedule or routine Do not have adequate planning and time management skills
Drug/Alcohol Testing:
Drug/alcohol testing is required Drug/alcohol testing required per non-regulatory requirements for employees working with water or electric meters Drug/alcohol testing required per Federal DOT regulations for employees working with gas meters
