Job Description
Experienced 911 Telecommunicator committed to serving the citizens of Vermilion County Illinois. The 911 Communications Center handles calls for all of Vermilion County and provides dispatch services to 40 agencies including police, fire and emergency medical services. The right committed and experienced applicant with the following experience, skills and training, is eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus.
- 3 years experience as a 911 Telecommunicator and a minimum of two years with current employer
- Experience must include the following: High functioning ability to facilitate use of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to incude accurate data entry, screen navigation, prompt infomration retrieval and systems integration. LEADS and NCIC certified
- Skills must inclue the following: Excellent verbal and written communication Detail oriented 45 wpm
