Responsibilities Coordinate daily dispatch activities for freight and shipments, ensuring optimal routing and scheduling using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine. GPS, GIS

(Geographic Information Systems), and other tracking tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and troubleshoot logistical issues in real-time. Input accurate data into transportation management systems, including shipping details, delivery schedules, and fleet information, ensuring data entry precision. Manage shipping & receiving documentation, coordinate freight pickups/deliveries, and oversee fleet management activities to ensure compliance with safety standards. Analyze transportation data to identify efficiencies or delays; collaborate with supply chain teams to implement improvements in transportation planning. Support logistics operations by handling inquiries related to freight status, shipment scheduling, and delivery updates with professionalism and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment; familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers is a plus. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine; experience with AS400 is advantageous. Proficiency in using GPS devices, GIS software, and other tracking tools for route planning and fleet management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain professional phone etiquette across multi-line phone systems. Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating logistics data and making informed decisions to improve efficiency. Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, freight documentation, and warehouse operations such as shipping & receiving protocols.
