Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization, is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team. As a Dispatcher, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting transportation and delivery services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • 5:30 PM What's the Job?
Coordinate daily transportation and delivery operations by scheduling routes and assigning drivers Monitor shipments to ensure on-time, compliant service and resolve issues in real time Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, internal teams, and customers Maintain accurate documentation in dispatch systems and support safe workflow practices Assist with cold chain management, including packaging and refrigeration needs Work Environment Combination of office and warehouse work Occasional work inside trucks for loading/unloading Periodic exposure to refrigerated and freezer environments (protective gear provided) What's Needed? High school diploma or GED equivalent Two to three years of experience in a related field preferred Proficient computer skills and excellent communication abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed What's in it for me?
