Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Towing Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher serves as the primary point of contact for customers, roadside assistance providers, law enforcement agencies, and drivers. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from customers requesting towing, roadside assistance, and recovery services. Dispatch drivers efficiently based on location, equipment needs, and service priority. Communicate with roadside assistance providers, insurance companies, law enforcement agencies, and commercial clients. Monitor driver status and provide updates to customers regarding estimated arrival times. Enter and maintain accurate service information in dispatch software. Coordinate emergency and after-hours service requests. Assist with scheduling, routing, and workload management. Maintain detailed records of calls, services, invoices, and customer interactions. Handle customer concerns professionally and courteously. Support office operations as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous dispatch, customer service, call center, towing, transportation, or logistics experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. Excellent computer and phone skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts when required. Knowledge of Central Kentucky roads and surrounding areas is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience with towing or roadside assistance dispatching. Familiarity with GPS tracking and dispatch software. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple service calls simultaneously.
